Responsibilities
- End users can receive technical support over the phone, via email, chat, or in person.
- Install, set up, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues on desktops and laptops.
- Install, update, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
- Perform hardware and software upgrades as needed.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to address challenging technical issues.
- Document all support actions, solutions, and setups for future reference.
- End users should be trained on how to operate hardware and software programs properly.
- Assist with the inventory of hardware and software assets.
- Stay informed on developing technology and industry best practices.

Skills Required
- Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or in a similar position.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows 11) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with the Mac OS and Linux operating systems is advantageous. - Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
- Customer-focused approach with a dedication to providing high-quality support services.
- Relevant credentials (such as CompTIA A+ and Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are preferred but not essential.
