Responsibilities

• Monitor Catchpoints’ node infrastructure and handle Linux server issues in several third-party data centers and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
• Upgrade the operating system and applications, and migrate the servers to a new environment.
• Accepts and registers occurrences from the Support team.
• Classify incidences according to the options/categories provided.
• Execute the first effort to resolve customer issues and/or escalate to the next level based on SLAs.
• Tracks the status of an owned incident ticket throughout its lifecycle (from registration to closure) to verify that it is resolved within the agreed-upon Service Level Agreement (SLA), and updates tickets. (Note: is accountable for the solution’s creation but not necessarily for the solution itself).
• When thresholds are violated, escalate to the appropriate next level or management.

Required Skills and Qualification

• BE/BTech/MCA Computer Science & Networking, 2023/2024 graduation.
• Experience: 0–6 months.
• Certification in Linux is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) and network troubleshooting with ping and traceroute.
• Basic understanding of Bash/Shell Scripting and Web Server.
• Fundamental knowledge of large-scale networking, including the OSI Model, DNS, SSL/TLS, WINS, TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, routing, ACLs, and switching.
• It is beneficial to have understanding of Linux virtualization (KVM).
• Ready to work in 24|5 rotational shifts.
