Job Description for Analyst
Troubleshoot known and unknown hardware issues with business issued or provided desktops, laptops, mobile devices (phones and tablets), peripherals, and associated accessories.
- Troubleshoot known and unknown software issues with Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Microsoft Office Communicator, and other corporate-deployed desktop programs.
- Troubleshoot Microsoft patches, business software installations, group policies, and McAfee antivirus difficulties.
- Build and reimage a corporate-issued PC, including any hardware repairs or upgrades required to resolve the end-user productivity issue. Diagnostics will be performed to confirm HW repair, replacement, or upgrade.
- Troubleshooting LAN/WAN issues that affect employee productivity. This will require a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VPN, secure access approaches, and wireless technologies.
