Responsibilities

• Create a workflow diagram that shows how information moves between different stakeholders in a software system.
• Create an architecture diagram (using the iDesigner tool) for a software system based on the questionnaire filled by the development team.
• Multitask and coordinate the completion of risk and control evaluations by communicating with a variety of stakeholders (at least 15 in total) and prioritizing tasks among them.
• Coordinate the installation of Single Sign On (SAML).
• Update and maintain Jira items on the Kanban dashboard.
• Proactively follow up with the relevant team for status updates, or escalate as needed.
• Generate status reports for ongoing tasks and submit them to upper management.
• Coordinate the ad hoc production release of security controls outside of regular office hours.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills 

• Experience developing clean Java code structured using a test-first development style.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Skills in gathering information are required in order to grasp the functionality of an existing software system.
• Strong knowledge of technology security measures (data authentication, authorization, and encryption, single sign on, data retention/deletion, and so on).
• Understanding of PII data and the necessary safeguards to protect it.
• Excellent coordination skills.
• Good analytical capabilities.
• Proficient with PowerPoint and Excel.
