I write to you today as one of the over 2,000 fresh graduates whose future is hanging in the balance after a long and painful wait of nearly 2.5 years. Along with my fellow graduates, I was offered employment by Infosys—one of India’s leading IT giants—back in 2022. Despite this promise, I am still waiting to be onboarded into the role I worked so hard to secure.
For 2.5 years, I, along with many others, have held onto hope. Trusting Infosys’s offer, I personally turned down opportunities from other leading MNCs. Like many of my peers, I believed that a job at Infosys would give me the stability and opportunity I needed to build my career. However, that decision has come at a cost. The opportunities I once had are gone, and after all this time, I still have no clarity on when I will be able to begin my professional journey.
This is not just about me—thousands of young graduates are in the same situation. We are facing emotional stress, financial uncertainty, and the frustration of seeing our peers advance in their careers while we remain stuck, waiting for an opportunity that seems further away with each passing day.
Honorable Prime Minister, I humbly request your intervention in this matter. Our futures are at stake, and we need your help to ensure that Infosys honors its commitment to us. After waiting for 2.5 years, our spirit is being tested, and many of us are beginning to lose hope. We need your leadership to help resolve this issue so that we may finally begin our careers and contribute to India’s growth and innovation.
I have faith in your leadership and trust that you will help restore our hope and dignity. Please, help us secure the future we have worked so hard for.
