It’s true that you can move funds between your bank account and EPF account. This process is carried out electronically via the member portal of EPFO. Your bank account and IFSC code need to be seeded with your UAN in order for you to be qualified for an online transfer. Additionally, authorised signatures must be digitally registered with both your present and past employers, if appropriate.
To access the EPFO member portal, enter your password and UAN.
Click on “Online Services” and choose “Transfer Request.”
Please confirm your personal information and, if relevant, include the details of your previous job.
Give the details of your current bank account, such as the account number and IFSC code.
Send the request, then use the One-Time Password (OTP) that will be delivered to your registered mobile phone to authenticate it.
It usually takes 15 to 20 working days for the transfer to appear in your account. You can use the UMANG App or the member portal to monitor the progress of your transfer request.
