Yes, there is a brief waiting period before you can take your entire PF balance after quitting your work. You must wait two months following your last day of employment with the company in order to be eligible for the full amount. There is one difference, though, in that you are able to take out a portion of your PF even sooner.
You can withdraw 75% of your entire PF corpus—which includes interest and company and employee contributions—after one month of leaving your job. This can be useful if you require money right away. That being said, keep in mind that you can access your entire PF amount by waiting the full two months.
