No. But TCS’s unwillingness to terminate has nothing to do with its position as a government-like institutions or its good intentions.
TCS is a software services company. They make money by allocating a person to a job and charge customers by the hour. Pay an employee a salary that is considerably less than the hourly rate they receive from the customer. The difference is the profit they make.
They don’t care how well a person performs as long as they can continue to bill the customer. Finally, it is the customer’s project.
Also, the majority of employees are inexperienced and low-paid. They are not expected to perform well or have advanced technical skills.
