Life after 40 in the IT business is a combination of experience and adaptability. People with ten years or more of experience typically move to leadership positions, such as architects, project managers, or technology consultants. The industry recognizes their capacity to solve problems, think carefully and mentor younger colleagues.
However, the rapid rate of technology innovation needs ongoing study. While some may face age-based assumptions, many IT professionals over 40 use their experience to make it in this dynamic industry.
