You have to give in your hours wherever you work.

Wipro, TCS, Infi, Capegemini, Deloitte etc. etc. – mostly 9 and sometimes 10–11 maybe 12 (when deadlines arrive), you have to do your time.

It is almost like doing time, no one loves what they do in these top notch IT companies.

I have heard people working at Google and Intuit being deeply satisfied with their jobs in IT and software development – the concept is alien to me.

As for work life balance:

1. You have some 15 hours in day (considering you sleep for 8 hours and include 1 hr of the morning after you wake up and get ready for office).
2. You spend 11 hours in the office (1 hr travelling from home to work and vice-versa + 9 hours in the office).
3. Balance what you can in the remaining 4 hours
