There may be severe repercussions if a background check (BGV) is unsuccessful after an employee has started work for an organisation. To confirm the inconsistencies in the BGV report, the organisation can launch an internal inquiry. Discrepancies may result in disciplinary proceedings, including termination of employment, from the company, depending on their severity.
Usually, the worker will be given a chance to clarify any inconsistencies or offer more supporting information. Nonetheless, the business has the right to end the employment contract if the differences are substantial and cannot be adequately explained. The company’s policies and the seriousness of the problem may dictate a quick termination without warning or severance compensation.
