    Capgemini doesn’t seem to have a formal bench policy, but there are some guidelines for freshers:
    • Bench time: Fresher employees can stay on the bench longer than others.
    • Project assignment: The RMG team is responsible for assigning projects, and it should take no more than three months to get assigned to a project.
    • Layoffs or resignations: If you don’t get assigned to a project within three months, you may be laid off or asked to resign. Some recommend trying to get a project as soon as possible and dealing well with your manager.

    I think for freshers it could take anywhere from 6 months to a year. For experienced, after three months, employees will receive an email/call from the resource management group (RMG), asking you to search for a project or quit the company.
