TCS NQT does not work like an average exam with a defined passing grade. Instead, it applies a competitive scoring system.

This means there is no single minimum score required to qualify. The qualifying criteria, or cut-off score, changes from year to year depending on multiple factors:

• Number of Test Participants: Increases in applications generally results in a higher cut-off score.
• Exam Difficulty: If the NQT exam appears more challenging in a particular year, the cut-off score may be reduced to reflect this.
• Overall Candidates Performance: The average score of every applicant also has an effect. If the average score is high, the cutoff score may be increased to reflect this.

While there is no sure pass mark, you will obtain a TCS NQT score report after passing the exam. This report explains how you performed in various portions of the test. A strong performance in these sections improves your chances of landing a job at TCS or any company that accepts NQT scores.
