No, AI will not replace programmers in the near future. Now you may be wondering why. AI is so powerful today because to Copilot and now Devin AI, both of which have the potential to do so. Yes, I agree with you; these AI models have that type of potential. But, bro, they cannot replace programmers who have already accepted this. In my perspective, AI should not be viewed as a rival, but rather as an assistant. It can be quite useful while coding. And just because AI can create machine learning or DSA-related code in the near future does not indicate that the CEO of that company will direct it to do so. A software developer will handle this. However, it’s a fact that AI will replace junior-level jobs.
