Test Eligibility
- Highest Qualification : TCS NQT is only available to the graduating class of 2025 who have earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Engineering (B.E), Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Engineering (M.E), Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A), or Master of Science (M.Sc./M.S.) degree in any field offered by AICTE/UGC-accredited universities or colleges.
- Academic Aggregate: Candidates must have a minimum CGPA of 60% or an equivalent in class 10, class 12, diploma, graduation, and post-graduation, if applicable, across all disciplines in all semesters.
The offer will only be accepted if the degree or provisional degree certificate unequivocally certifies that the candidate completed engineering in “First Class” within the allotted time frame.
- Backlogs/Arrears/ATKT: When applying for the TCS selection process, there cannot be any outstanding backlogs.
- Extended Education: There will be no exceptions to this rule. Applicants must have finished the course within the allotted time.
- Education Gap or Break: If there are any educational gaps, these must be disclosed. Before obtaining the highest qualification, the total academic gap shouldn’t be more than 24 months. If applicable, pertinent documents will be examined for any gaps.
- Course Types: Part-time and correspondence courses will not be taken into consideration; only full-time courses will.
- Open Schooling: If the graduation and post-graduation (if applicable) courses are taken full-time, candidates who have finished their secondary and/or senior secondary education at the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) may also apply.
- Job Experience: Only post-graduate students are eligible to apply, and candidates may have up to two years of prior job experience.
- Age : Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 28.

Application Process
Step 1: Open the TCS NextStep Portal in a new tab and log in.
Step 2: Sign up and submit an application for the drive
- Scenario A: Please use your TCS Reference ID (CT/DT reference number) to log in and complete the application form if you are already a registered user in the “IT” category of the TCS NextStep Portal. After submitting, please select “Apply For Drive.”
- Scenario B: If you are a first-time user, please click “Register Now,” select “IT,” and then enter your information.
Step 3: Click ‘Apply For Drive’ after submitting your application. Click “Apply” after selecting the “In-center” test method and selecting your three selected test locations.
Please be aware that test center allocation is contingent upon center availability.
Step 4: Click “Track Your Application” to see your status. “Applied for Drive” should be the status.
