No. It doesn’t work that way at Deloitte as being simply hired means you’re capable of doing things. Now, getting your first project includes some amount of luck, but it also depends on your skill set. Reach out to people/RMs and just ask them what is going on, when you will receive the project, and what else you can do in the meantime. So simply, be engaged.
No because Deloitte spends heavily in employee training through the Deloitte Academy. Firing someone just for failing to excel right away after training would be a poor use of those resources. Yet, performance issues or policy violations may result in termination even after training.
