It depends on the situation just like with any other IT company. There is a guideline that allows you to stay on the bench for three months but in between bench periods you will be given a different project/location or technology that you must accept, else you could face a risk problem.
According to my experience with Mindtree, you may want to examine your previous performance, skills, along with other factors. If you are a sensible developers do not worry you will be retained for some time. Finally, they will make a decision depending on bench availability and other factors.
So they will not ask you to leave right away. They will ask you to grow your field of knowledge by learning new skills as well as complete a course that will help you get projects within your field or afterward.
